Job stress in 2020

As with everyone, COVID has massively impacted our lives. For me, this meant losing my job and moving back to Jersey. My last day in work was Tuesday 17th March. It is now Monday 14th September. That is a long time being out of work, and it’s been a very challenging time. Moving home brought with it added pressure as I said goodbye to my independence, my income and my friends who were in a similar position. All my friends in Jersey, have permanent full times jobs and so it has been an isolating period. It’s been challenging to keep my morale up along with a realistic and positive approach. And as the months have ticked by the mundane has started to kick in.
