HAYFEVER

2050. London streaming to Londoon. Tomato Soup. A Jenga game. A passionate love story born in a bohemian style bedroom in a Notting Hill Tower.

How could it all go wrong?Apparently because of an accidental murder in a supermarket. Or was it on a train platform? When two cops, Tom and Jerry, break into James and Monya's flat on an early morning, their lives change forever. But when will the truth be revealed?

HAYFEVER is a dark comedy that explores how living by different cultural rules can eventually  alienate you from a country or planet which you thought you were part of. Are love and care always enough when someone has to overcome traumas from the past?

In this live TV Show presented by Kyle Sanders, the AUDIENCE MEMBERS will decide the actors destiny, they can also zoom into any character's inner feelings requiring a monologue, a song, a "Feelicalise" at any time of the show. Maybe even go home with an auctioned part of the set.

"As Beckett has shown us, there can be profundity in absurdity.
This show does have something to say. It’s adventurous, inventive and, in many ways, joyful, fun and illuminating."

‘Thanks for bringing a non-uk cast on stage! Foreign accents are beautiful !’

OUR APPROACHES

*Every piece of set and costume will be put in auction during the whole run of the show, at the end of the run, audience members will be able to take ownership of what they bought. In this way, we aim for our production to be at a O% wastage rate. As the lead character is a painter, lots of paintings will be exhibited as part of the set that audience members will also be able to buy.

WHY SUPPORT US?

We are proud of this play’s novelties in content and delivery. It addresses the long under-represented theme of cultural diversity in hybrid communities of native and expat population. We want to tell stories that represent voices of big cities that we don’t yet hear in theatre and explore how their heritage contributes to the cities’ soul. We introduce a radical storytelling format that enables viewers to intervene not just contextually but also commercially in the plot, thereby highlighting ways in which modern voices are filtered within highly interactive and commercially charged environments.
